REGULATIONS FOR
JUVENILE AND JUNIOR COMPETITIONS |

1. Applications There REGULATIONS apply to all ADSF member. Competitors should be 15th birthday or less in the calendar year. 2.Competition Groups 2.1 Juvenile Juvenile I: reach 9th birthday or less in the calendar year Juvenile II: reach 10th and 11th birthday in the calendar year 2.2 Junior Junior I: reach 12th and 13th birthday in the calendar year Junior II: reach 14th and 15th birthday in the calendar year Putting two age-groups together, such as juvenile I and II as well as junior I and II in one class, is optional. When nominating couples, member organizations must give dates of birth. 3. Types of Competitions 3.1 Compulsory juvenile I: W,Q,C,R juvenile II: W,Q,VW,C,R,J junior I: W,Q,VW,T,C,R,J,S junior II: W,T,VW,F,Q,S,C,R,P,J 3.2 Optional Arranged by organizer in the light of competition conditions. 4. Contents of Competition Arranged by organizer as follows in the light of competitions: A. Compulsory Exercise. B. Optional Exercise. C. Compulsory Exercise combined with Optional Exercise. 5. Competition Dress 5.1 Juvenile Boys: Black or midnight-blue trousers. Plain white shirt normal sleeves and armholes. Girls: Skirt of one colour-blouse of one colour or simple one colour dress. No decorations, no competition dress. High heel shoes are not permitted. Blockheel only with a maximum height of 3.5cm. 5.2 junior Standard Boys: The suit must be black or midnight-blue, Tailsuits are allowed but not prescribed. Girls: Competition dress. Latin Boys: Black or midnight-blue trousers. Plain white shirt long sleeves. Girls: Competition dress, No decorations The Chairman of Adjudicators has the right to disqualify any couple at the competition not dressed according to this rule. 6. Time allowed and Tempi The tempi for each dance will comply with IDSF Competition Rules. The time can be shortened appropriately. And the time for each dance shall be a minimum of one minute. 7. Adjudicators 7.1 The Chairman of Adjudicators will be appointed by organizer. 7.2 A minimum of five adjudicators including IDSF adjudicator. NOTE: 1. These Regulations are established based on the proposal of philippine representative at the ADSF meeting on Nay 21st, 1999. 2. Competition Groups and Competition Dress are established based on IDSF Competition Rules. 3. Item 3.1 of Types of Competitions is established refer to the status of Denmark, Greece, the United States, Romania, etc. Approved by ADSF Conference May 14th 2000 Munich Germany |
